Monadnock Paper Mills Launches New Website
Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc., announces the launch of its new website, designed to be a resource to the graphic arts printing and packaging communities, as well as to OEMs and printers/converters. The new website is replete with educational resources in design, printing and finishing, and also features information about all Monadnock products, including papers for the printing and packaging markets, technical/specialty papers and non-wovens.
"We know that brand owners, designers and printers are constantly looking for information that can help them make their work more inspirational, sustainable and efficient," said Jim Clemente, vice president of sales and marketing. "It is also a good place for OEMs and printers/converters to explore Monadnock's Technical/Specialty papers and Non-Woven media."
The new mpm.com features expanded resources, a clean new look and is fully database driven. Resources for graphic arts and packaging include an environmental design section that has searchable information on sustainable design topics, including paper, inks, finishing, energy and emissions. This section also includes an interactive environmental calculator to show the environmental benefits of each Monadnock product based on the percentage of post-consumer recycled fiber contained in that product. There is also a section on the meaning and use of eco-logos in print. "The new website is in keeping with the tools Monadnock is committed to supplying to the printing, design and converting communities," Clemente said. "Whether it's through our Masters of Design interview series, our Field Guide to Eco-friendly, Efficient and Effective Print or the new mpm.com, our goal at Monadnock is to help our customers do better work visually, functionally and environmentally."
The website, www.mpm.com, also presents a new Technical/Specialty papers section devoted to high-performance specialty papers made for sterilizable medical packaging, wall covering, abrasive backing, tape- and label-related uses and multi-ply art board applications, to name a few. For many years, Monadnock has honed its ability to custom-design papers to meet the precise end-use requirements of individual clients and markets. Also represented on the website is Monadnock Non-Wovens (MNW), a subsidiary company manufacturing melt-blown synthetic media. End-use applications include air (HVAC) and liquid (water purification) filtration media and face mask stock, and, like the technical/specialty papers, these materials are customized to meet the exacting needs of clients. The diversity of the Monadnock portfolio of products and the company's ability to customize its papers and non-wovens set it apart from all others.
