Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc. announces new Envi by Monadnock™ Shopping Bag (SB), a line of premium, high quality environmental carrier bag substrates designed exclusively for brand conscious retailers.  The latest addition to the Envi by Monadnock line, new SB can be manufactured with up to 100 percent post-consumer waste (PCW).  Designed as a direct alternative to virgin fiber, the initial introduction to the shopping bag line contains 50 percent PCW and is comparable in strength, durability and aesthetics.  Ideal for brand owners looking to improve their eco-profile, Envi by Monadnock SB is made in a bright balanced-white shade and features exceptional surface uniformity, smoothness and brightness for high-contrast, high impact graphics and brand recognition.

Envi by Monadnock SB bears the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody mixed sources certification.  This certification guarantees that the fiber is responsibly sourced and is verified by a third-party.  Created with the entire life cycle in mind, the paper is not only made with recycled content, but it can be recycled.  This new product offering is also manufactured carbon neutral using 100 percent renewable electrical energy, as are all of Monadnock’s Graphic Arts Printing and Packaging Papers.
