Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of "Fashion", its latest edition of Edge, a Journal of Ideas for the Graphic Arts. This new demonstration piece features the images of renowned fashion photographer, Uli Weber, and aims to demonstrate the importance of paper selection in multi-color, image rich marketing communications.

Monadnock salutes the photographic work of Uli Weber. Over the years his work has satisfied highly diverse client objectives, and depending on those objectives, the images he has created can range from detailed renderings of clothing and cosmetics to atmospheric evocations of the client's brand. In either style, that one frozen moment in time must communicate, and the paper on which that image is printed is an integral part of that communication. With uncoated papers gaining favor among creative specifiers, the fashion industry has embraced this trend as a means to differentiate brands. Monadnock's papers offer an elegant tactility, as well as superb print resolution and consistency, providing specifiers the confidence that brand objectives are achieved.

"Fashion" is printed on Astrolite®, Silk Finish, 100 pound cover and 65 pound cover weights. The photographs are rendered in duotones and four-color process, with match touchplates on some of the images, all at 175 line screen with dot-for-dot satin varnish. A silver touchplate on several fabrics adds a unique luminosity to the images. The images include full bleed and silhouettes.
